Iran's cricket team due in Kuwait Feb. 16

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Iran's cricket supremo here Tuesday announced that national team would leave for Kuwait Thursday to take part in an international tournament, the Middle East Cup.
Head of Cricket Committee Hossein-Ali Salimian, who talked to IRNA, added 19 players would represent the country in the event.
"This is the second international meet Iran will attend," said the official adding Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Afghanistan would also compete in Kuwait.
Salimian will accompany the players as head of the team.
